Covid-19 vaccinations Posted or Updated on 16 Apr 2024

We are delighted to announce that on Wednesday 23rd June 2021, we will have delivered over 100,000 Covid-19 vaccinations alongside our local GP Surgeries working from Cathedral House, our vaccination site in Huddersfield.

Kirklees has consistently seen high rates of Covid-19 and we are delighted to have made significant inroads into protecting people from the virus. We have delivered several thousand vaccines in care homes and in housebound patients, in addition to holding pop-up clinics for hard to reach populations.

We have had a huge helping hand from local volunteers, the CCG and Kirklees Council. Staff have gone above and beyond in ensuring the success of the vaccination programme.

Staff have worked tirelessly in order to reach this milestone, whilst continuing with our normal patient care. We can see the substantial impact that the vaccination programme has in helping us to defeat the virus and we urge those are yet to be vaccinated to come forward and get booked in.
