Our GP practice is still open and here for you as we have been throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to COVID-19 related absence, we are working with a reduced number of staff so it may take longer than usual for us to answer the phone or schedule an appointment.
The pandemic is not over. GP practices worked hard to provide a service throughout lockdown and continue to do so. To protect everyone, we must maintain safe infection control and minimise unnecessary physical contact.
We are delighted to announce that on Wednesday 23rd June 2021, we will have delivered over 100,000 Covid-19 vaccinations alongside our local GP Surgeries working from Cathedral House, our vaccination site in Huddersfield.
The Pfizer BionTech vaccine has now been approved for use and the NHS will be starting to offer this to priority groups as soon as supplies arrive. Initially, it will be only be available at a few hospital hubs where it can be stored safely and it will be offered to those most at risk of Covid-19 first.
